Astro Lords: Oort Cloud is a free 3D game with real-time combat management.

Genre: a massively multiplayer online game (MMO), space strategy, sci-fi.

Powered by Unity, the game was developed for Web, PC (Windows, MacOS, Linux), iOS (iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad) and Android devices with sole server based on Cloud technology that had been developed by Aratog.

Gameplay

As an Astro Lord, a player controls his/her own asteroid where he/she can mine for crystals, build factories that produce ammunition and repair parts for his/her space ships. This base is player’s central stronghold and that means that other Lords can only plunder, not capture it. Besides, a player can capture up to 5 additional asteroids to mine for crystals, but he/she needs to watch out for other Lords because they can recapture them.

Every asteroid is defended by a Star Base that can be equipped with runes and artifacts, players can also load its cannons with different types of ammo.

Each Astro Lord can control up to 6 generals of 7 classes available. Generals can be upgraded, learn different skills and they also have their own ships that can be equipped with ammunition, officers, artifacts and runes.

There are 7 different types of space ships available for players. They can choose one according to skills of a specific general.

Astro Lords can use the Arena to fight with aliens (AI) or other Lords. These are real-time combats that give players the opportunity to have more fun while playing the game. Players can either manage battles themselves if they want to or they can tell their general(s) to do that. Generals fight according to their level and equipment.

One of the unique features of the game is a Star Base’s special radar that allows players not only see allies and enemies, but also commit pirate raids.

When players decide to commit a robbery or attack, they can use up to 6 space ships but they can operate only 1 of them. In addition, up to 5 allies can participate in the attack or defence missions. Quantity of ships that can participate in a battle is limited to 12.

Player’s base is located on the asteroid that is able to travel within the Cloud of Oorth. In order to move their asteroids, players are required to learn an appropriate science. Players can move their asteroids to: - go to nebulas that are rich in crystals or other elements

- search for victims

- trade or find favorable prices on the market

- use an asteroid to transfer resources

- chase their rivals

- escape from robbers or invaders

- commit clannish raids

- find safe places in trade zones

- be hired by other players to accompany their weak asteroids

- explore empty sectors of outer space (in the area of radar coverage) where players may find resources as well as many other bonuses.
